Our Camp

Designed purposefully for hosting small groups of hunters, our camp is centrally located in the heart of turkey country and is your destination for a memorable week.

The accommodations are both comfortable and private. Most suites feature a private bath and all feature plush, lodge decor. While we strongly encourage our guests to 'unplug and disconnect', there is high speed wi-fi throughout the lodge. We believe we've created the perfect environment to rest and relax. From the beautiful wildlife mounts that adorn the walls to the comfortable suites to the “outdoor channel intensive” high def satellite media center, we know you’ll agree this is the perfect place to unwind.

And though we are at Turkey Camp, we aren't roughing it when it comes to meals. We only serve the finest beef, pork, farm fresh vegetables and homemade soups and sweets – including portions large enough to satisfy even the fiercest appetite.

Our team of culinary experts make sure our bodies have plenty of fuel for the days activities and our morning and noon meals are set based on the hunting demands. At the end of each day though, we gather for a big, five-star meal to revisit the days highlights and plan for tomorrow's adventures.

Our Hunt

The fellowship and community in turkey camp is different from all our other adventures. It is up early and in the woods before first light. To get a shot at one of these big toms we want to be setup in the woods to catch them leaving the roost. And the view of a South Dakota sunrise makes up for a little less sleep.

This is big rolling country, where you can often spot birds from over a mile away. We have the gear, the guides and nature provides plenty of birds. Spring time weather in the Dakotas adds to the thrill of the hunt. It may be sunny and 70 degrees one day and then it may be snow the next. That's all part of the fun. Bring your camo and good pair of boots and spend three days with us chasing big toms across rugged beautiful country in the Missouri River bottoms.

Our camp is on the border of Nebraska and South Dakota, allowing us to hunt birds in both states on the same trip. Nebraska provides over the counter tags for archery or shotgun and South Dakota uses an application system for tags. South Dakota's tag are valid for archery, shotgun or rifle! If that doesn't sound sporting, just wait till you get a chance at a strutting gobbler across a canyon!

With an early start to each morning, we provide a continental breakfast to get you fueled up for the day ahead. And based on weather, game activity and hunting conditions we may take our noon meal in the field to maximize our opportunity or we may retire back to camp for sandwiches, soups and a quick nap. Then we'll spend our afternoons spotting and stalking these beautiful birds as we try and catch them on their way back to the roost. Our evenings are filled with great food, camp fires and our namesake - great fellowship.
